Mandatory Publication of Pricing Information
The obligation to publish prices is subject to the Swiss pricing information ordinance (Verordnung über die Bekanntgabe von Preisen PBV). The ordinance obliges you - the client - to publish the cost incurred by the caller along with your value-added service number (0900, 0901 or 0906 numbers) as of January 1, 2005. The pricing information given must be clear, transparent, comprehensible and easy to read in the same font size as the number listed. Listings must include information disclosing the base fee and/or the price per minute. If a different pricing process is used, the applicable rates must be clearly disclosed. As ofJuly 1, 2010, the comment "from landlines" must be added to the declared rates for 090X numbers in our directories.
It is your obligation and responsibility to meet these requirements.
Where are Value-Added Service Numbers published
Unless otherwise specified, your value-added service number will automatically be published in the directories of local.ch.
You may also opt to only publish your value-added service number in a specific telephone book edition. In this event, the Value-Added Service Number will exclusively be published in the corresponding telephone directory under the locality where the client is based, i. e. not in all telephone directories.
How expensive is it to publish Value-Added Service Numbers?
The publication charge fee correspond to current additional listing fees.
